Our Story: Hand-Stitched, Mom-Approved

The truth is, even after living in Miami for over 15 years, this vibrant city can still sometimes feel "new." Finding a deep, grounded sense of connection isn't always easy.

As a serial entrepreneur, nonprofit professional, craft hobbyist —and most importantly, as a mom—I realized I wanted something more experiential, holistic, and authentic for my kids and our neighbors. I wanted to build a safe, inspiring place where kids (and grownups!) can have fun, unleash their creativity, and make meaningful connections (without the constant pull of a cell phone).

Thus, Stitch Studio DIY was born out of a desire to empower teens, tweens, and adults to develop their craft and cultivate other important life skills while building genuine relationships IRL (in real life).

Essentially, this studio is meant to be a collaboration of creativity and community. It's a place to explore textiles (and not social media feeds), test your crafting prowess, or just find your people.

Let’s come together and make something real.
